The “Celibataire” solidarity group has been created on March 28, 2008. It is composed of eight women living in the same neighborhood. They are neighbors and friends who decided to form a group together. The group belongs to the Banc Villageois of Montagne Nord2.

Mrs. Boye Guèye N., standing to the right in the photo is the group’s leader. She is 40 years old. She is married and the mother of four dependent children. She sells “thioub,” a traditional tinted fabric. She buys her wares from friends who bring merchandise from the neighboring countries and resells at the local markets. Her new loan will allow her to expand her stock so as to increase her revenues.

Her goal is to grow her savings and to provide for her children’s education.

Le groupe de solidarité CÉLIBATAIRE est créé le 28 mars 2008. Il est composé de 08 femmes toutes issues du même quartier. Elles se sont organisées par voisinage et par affinité. Le groupe fait partie du Banc villageois de MONTAGNE NORD2

Madame Boye Guèye N. debout à droite de la photo est responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 40 ans. Elle est mariée et mère de 04 enfants en charge.

Elle fait du commerce de thioub. Elle s'approvisionne auprès de ses amies qui achète la marchandise dans les pays limitrophes et revend dans les marchés de sa localité.

Son nouveau crédit lui permettra d'augmenter ses provisions afin d'accroitre ses bénéfices

Son objectif est d'augmenter ses épargnes et prendre en charge les études de ses enfants
