Sop Sën Fallou Group's story

The solidarity group SOP SËN FALLOU was created on March 28, 2008. It is composed of 9 women who come from the same neighborhood. They are organized according to where they live and by common interest. The group are members the Banc Villageios of Montagne Nord 2.

Madame Rokhaya S., to the right in the picture, is the leader of the solidarity group. She is 54 years old and the mother of four children. She also takes care of a nephew and a niece.

For five years, she has been in the business of selling thioub (dyed cloth). She also sells local chickens.

With her new loan she plans to increase her stocks so that she can increase her revenue.

Her goal is to provide food, health care, education, and clothing to her children.
