María is a founding member of the loan group. She is very happy and pleased because with all previous loans she has had what she had been promised. She is 53 years old and lives with her partner, with whom she has had 8 children, all of them adults and independent. Her partner is a merchant.

She sells natural, esoteric and medicinal products from her stall in the centre of the city, in the corner of the streets Alajuela and Garcia Moreno. She works every day from 7am to 7pm. What she sells the most is medicinal products for the kidneys and liver. She sells different brands, the same ones she receives at her premises.

The loan is to buy all kinds of products for her business. Her dream is to own larger premises, because at the moment she is renting.
