Ma. Juna B. is from the town of Baclayon. She is 39 years old, married and has two children. She owns and operates a handicraft business, making and selling key chains and coin purses to tourists and local community members. Ma. Juna also sells pork barbecue at night, outside their house.
Ma. Juna joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. She has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI. Ma. Juna is requesting a new loan of 19000 PHP to purchase ingredients for barbecue and materials for making key chains.
She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
