Richard
Richard is 43 years old. He is married with five school-aged children who all attend school. He is a farmer from Kisii town in western Kenya. He has been practicing mixed farming for the last twenty years. His farm produces tea which he sells through Kenya Tea Development Agency and maize which he sells locally.

He has requested this loan of 25,000 KES through Juhudi Kilimo to purchase and insure a dairy cow. The extra income from the sale of milk will help him pay school fees for his children. In the future, he would like to acquire more dairy cows that will increase his production and enable him to maximize profits from the sale of milk.

He is grateful to Juhudi for giving loans to farmers, and urges them to consider the plight of other farmers not yet reached.
