The “Restauración” (Restoration) group is comprised of three hard-working people. Liliam C., age 50, is one of them. She sells cosmetics, Arabela products, and gold and silver jewelry. She started her business in 2000; she sold food. She used the loans to invest in other businesses like cosmetics, used clothes, and jewelry.

Liliam C. has four children. The two youngest, ages 17 and 16, are with her. She works arduously for them. This woman’s dream is to have a better stocked business. She will buy clothes and cosmetics with the loan.

Justina R. is another member of the group. She sells milk, soft drinks, snacks, rice, sugar, and soap, etc.

The other member of the group is Isable Romera. She has a small grocery store, and she will use the loan to invest in it.

El grupo Restauración lo conforman tres personas trabajadoras una de ellas es la señora Liliam C. de 50 años quien es comerciante de cosméticos, productos Arabela y prendas de oro y plata. En el 2000 inicio su negocio con la venta de comida y con los préstamos invirtió en otros negocios como cosméticos, ropa usada y bisutería.
C. tiene cuatro hijos de los cuales los dos menores de 17 y 16 años están con ella y por los cuales trabaja arduamente. El sueño de esta fémina es tener un negocio más surtido es por ello que el crédito lo invertirá en ropa y cosméticos.
Los integrantes del grupo son Justina R. quien vende leche gaseosa, chiverías, arroz, azúcar, jabón…etc. desde hace dos años e Isabel R. propietaria de una pequeña pulpería en la que invertirá el crédito.

The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee.
