Bella Leticia
Bella, 35, lives with her children, ages 14 and 19, in Paraíso de Guayaquil (city outskirts with dirt roads and houses in the mountains). She has a small butcher shop.

Her husband began the business in order to take care of their family. Watching her husband work made Bella want to help with household expenses as well and have her own butchershop. When she separated from her husband, she invested her savings in meats for her own butcher shop. Since then, the has worked every day from 7AM until 11PM. Suppliers bring her meat every two days.

With the loan, Bella wants to buy all kinds of meat so that she can offer her customers variety. In the future she wants to have a bigger business so that her children can help her when they grow up.
