Olesya is married with a 1-year-old son. She is a farmer from predominantly agricultural Kherson region of Ukraine. Olesya lives in a small town of Privetnoye. She grows early spring vegetables to sell them wholesale in the markets of her region. Olesya has been in this business for 8 years. Presently, she has already invested 12,000 Grivnyas in this business. Her net profit amounts to 35,00 Grivnyas per season.
Olesya is planning to buy a dripping irrigation unit, fertilizers, farming chemicals, polyethylene film, seeds and wood for greenhouse heating. Therefore, she is requesting a 6,000 Grivnya loan. Olesya also breeds pigs which provides an additional source of income for herself and her family. She is hoping to continue growing her farming and cattle breeding businesses as they are the only ways to survive in small town neighborhoods like the one she is from.
