Jenifer N. is 34 years old and lives in the town of Kibuli, in the Kampala south region of Uganda. She is married and has 4 children. All of her children are currently in school. Jenifer has a business of an electrical retail shop, which she has had for 1 year. She sells general merchandise.
To help expand her business, Jenifer has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase electrical materials. With the help of the loan from BRAC, Jenifer hopes to generate greater profits and sometimes pay school fees. In the future, Jenifer hopes to become a powerful business woman.
