Cham R., 26, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, an area known for Angkorean temples. R.'s husband appears in the photograph because R. is not available. R. and her husband sell rice, earning an income of $5 each per day. R. has to spend $25 on food, $2 on electricity and water supplies, and $5 on other necessary expenses every month. She is requesting a loan of $700 to purchase more rice to resell and a motorbike for family use. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house.
