Svay S., 28, is married and lives with her husband and one young child in Phnom Penh. She and her husband grow and sell morning glory (water spinach). They usually earn a combined income of $16 US each day. This couple has been in this business since 2000. Svay S. is asking for a loan of $1000 US to purchase fertilizer and seed and to rent more land to grow morning glory. She hopes it will bring her family more income.
