Chhern V., 62, is married and resides with his wife and child in Phnom Penh City, Cambodia: an area known for being the most populated area in the country. V. is a machanic, earning an income of about USD 2 per day. His wife repairs motorcycles, earning an income of about USD 2 per day. The family has to spend USD 75 on food, USD 5 on electricity and water supplies, and USD 10 on other necessary expenses every month.
V. is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase spare parts to repair motorcycles and machines. In the future, he would like to use any additional profit to repair his house. This is his first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
