Nina and her husband have two sons, now in their late teens, and have always been involved with youth in their village. When her husband recently retired from being the village’s dentist, a position he had filled for ten years, Nina decided it was a good time to fulfill her dream of opening a place for young people to socialize. To make a viable business she came to the idea of opening a pizzeria that would attract youngsters from the area. She wants it to be a positive and safe place for youth, with current music and inexpensive food. The latter goal will be met by purchasing frozen pizzas from a Moldovan company and preparing them as they are ordered. She is also planning to have ice cream and of course various drinks. The whole family has been helping with preparing everything necessary, including renovating the building, and will continue to be involved. With a location near a lake that’s popular in the summer, Nina hopes to also add an outdoor terrace. She now needs a loan to purchase a large refrigerator / freezer and to cover the costs of initial inventory of food and supplies. Her sons’ friends and youth from the whole village are eagerly anticipating the opening of the pizzeria and Nina is looking forward to creating a welcoming atmosphere for them!
