Gilma lives in San Martín, Peru, and her business is located in her own home in the Jirón Ramón Castilla neighborhood. She runs a convenience store selling items like vegetables, meats, sausages and soft drinks. It's much like a small mini-mart. Gilma belongs to the Communal Bank of the Immaculate Virgin.

With the loan she is requesting, which she plans to repay within four months, Gilma will purchase supplies like 50kg sacks of sugar and rice, two packages of oil, milk, canned goods, sausages, noodles, detergents, and other items her store needs. Gilma feels that her business helps out a lot and she provides good customer service, keeping her store open for clients all day long. She wants to keep growing the store and buy a cooler.
