Felicidad
To make a living, Felicidad Q. provides motorcycle transport services to local community members. She is 43 years old, married and has three school-aged children. They are from the village of Bagong Tanza. Felicidad has been in her business for over 10 years and earns approximately 4,000 Philippine pesos (PHP) a month.

In 2007, Felicidad joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living conditions and enable her to engage in business activities. Felicidad has successfully repaid a previous loan of 13,000 PHP from ASKI which was used to repair her vehicle for better service. Felicidad is requesting a new loan of 13,000 PHP which will be used to purchase tires and other accessories. This will be her seventh loan from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to pay the tuition fees of her children.

ASKI is one of the most successful microfinance institutions in the Philippines. It has 29 branches covering the central and northeastern areas. Its clients are mostly farmers, fisherfolks and small entrepreneurs.
