Gloria Maribel
In the outskirts of Portoviejo we find the Caminantes de Cristo Communal Bank which meet every fifteen days. Here we found Mrs. Gloria, she is 28 years old, is married and has three children out of this relationship, she remembers with sadness the loss of her last child that died when it was two months old but God have her a new blessing since she is in her third month of pregnancy. Gloria was born in Carmen but has lived for the last 10 years in this beautiful city, her husband is a taxi driver.

Some years ago, Gloria learned about beauty and now she does this in her home, although she doesn’t have a beauty salon, her customers come and she paints their nails, cuts and colors their hair among other things since she doesn’t have the tools to do more. Gloria also sells Yanbal products (beauty products and perfume) which she delivers in the evenings and Saturdays her husband takes her to collect the money.

With this loan, Gloria wants to buy everything necessary to set up her beauty salon and to be able to give better service to her customers. She is a founding member of her Communal Bank and enjoys the benefits that she gets from the institution.

Gloria’s dreams are that her baby is born healthy and to have her own beauty shop.

En las afueras de Portoviejo encontramos el Banco Comunal Caminantes de Cristo, que se reúnen cada quince días.

Aquí encontramos a la señora Gloria, tiene 28 años y está casada, de esta relación ha tenido tres hijos aunque recuerda con tristeza que el ultimo que tuvo murió cuando apenas tenía dos meses de nacido, pero Dios le dio una nueva bendición ya que se encuentra en su tercer mes de embarazo, nació en el Carmen pero ya lleva 10 años en esta linda ciudad, su esposo es taxista.

Hace algunos años ella aprendió belleza y a eso se dedica en su casa, aunque no tiene un salón de belleza sus clientes llegan para que les realice trabajos como pintado de uñas, cortes de cabello y tinturados, las cosas que puede hacer ya que no cuenta con los instrumentos necesarios para realizar más trabajos. También vende productos de Yanbal (productos de belleza y perfumería) los cuales entrega en las tardes y los sábados su esposo la lleva para que realice los cobros.

Con éste crédito quiere comprar todo lo necesario para poder instalar su salón de belleza y así poder brindar un mejor servicio. Es fundadora del Banco Comunal y le gusta por los beneficios que recibe de la institución.

Sus sueños es que su bebe nazca sano y tener su salón de belleza.
