Sayrabubu U. is a 58-year-old widow with four grown children. She is engaged in sewing clothes and is known as a careful master who makes her clients look modern and elegant. One of her daughters was inspired by Sayrabubu’s creative processes and became an interior decorator, following her mother’s steps in making the world around her beautiful.
In 1991, in order to support her children, Sayrabubu started this business with her initial capital of 10,000 Kyrgyzstan som (KGS). She worked hard to develop this activity and, using the revenues, managed to renovate her flat.
Sayrabubu will use this loan of 100,000 KGS to broaden her range of products by purchasing different kinds of fabrics. With the revenues, she plans to buy accessory equipment and employ women who are good at sewing. In her personal plans, Sayrabubu wants to see her son marry and make essential preparations for a young family.
