Sa-Em
Mrs. Sa-em R. and her husband, Mr Kimchit Chay, have been married for more than 14 years. They have one son and one daughter, both in school. The family lives on an island on the Mekong River about 15 kilometers from Phnom Penh.

Sa-em has been a weaver since she was 18 years old, while her husband has been a mason since 2005. In addition to selling her own products, she wants to buy additional silk fabric from her fellow villagers and transport them to sell in other provinces. She is therefore requesting a loan of US$800 to purchase finished silk fabrics for resale.
