Valentina is married with grown children. She is a small entrepreneur from the Kherson region. Valentina sells women’s clothing in several small marketplaces in her region. She started her trade fifteen years ago when she was forced to find ways to feed her family in complicated times of post-soviet redevelopment. Currently, her turnover capital is about 49,000 UAH. Net profit amounts to approximately $887 a month.
Valentina is seeking a loan of 15,000 UAH to diversify the assortment of merchandise she offers for sale in the marketplaces. Valentina believes that offering a variety of clothing items will help her retain existing clients, find new ones and provide superior service in a competitive marketplace. Maintaining a good balance between price, quality and availability of products will promote further stable expansion of her trade and ensure better living standards for her family.
