Ann W. is 25 years old and a single lady. She has managed a general store for about two years at Zambezi, Nderi in Kikuyu. Most of her clients are residents in that area. She earns a profit of Kshs. 18,000 per month, and her other source of income is through farming.
She has no history with any other microfinance institution (MFI). She was introduced to KADET LTD by Francis Ndungu who is the chairman of an existing group of KADET. She is applying for her third loan of Kshs. 40,000 to add more stock to the general store and also she plans to diversify her business with the income generated.
Ann hopes to establish a wholesale cosmetic and general products shop in Zambezi so that she can cater for her educational needs as she aspires to going back to school.
