Skeeter is a single woman with three children who attend primary school. She has been preparing and selling chapati (flatbread) at her home for two years. Her typical customers are schoolchildren and her neighbors. Her sales fluctuate with the seasons, as she sells less when schoolchildren are on vacation in the months of April, August and December.
She would like to buy iron sheets and plywood to construct a shelter for her business. She currently rents a house with electricity and piped water.
Skeeter decided to work with Yehu to get access to loans that would improve her business and her standards of living. She hopes to manage a well-furnished cafeteria in the future.
