Narmandah's story

Narmandah J. is a 38-year-old woman who lives in Huvsgul province in northern Mongolia with her husband and two sons. Her husband is a carpenter and builds wooden furniture. One of her sons attends college while the other is in elementary school.

In 2003 Narmandah completed her schooling in hairdressing and began work. Today she rents a seat at a salon called “Youth.” Narmandah says, “My dream is to have my own workspace and expand my business even more so I can provide a good education for my children.” She is requesting a 3,000,000 MNT loan to purchase materials for her business.
