A loan of $425 helped to purchase frozen food products.

Nadine Ayaba's story

Born on February 3, 1977 in Ouidah, a historic town of Benin, Nadine Ayaba Q. is married to Martin GOULODE, a tire repairman. The couple has two children who both attend school. About three years ago the family settled in the Sènadé district of Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin.

Nadine helps her husband and provides with him for the family expenses thanks to the income generated by her business. Nadine did not attend school. Nadine has been selling for a dozen years frozen food products (meat, fish, etc.) and various other products (canned tomatoes and sardines, milk, pasta, etc.) at Dantokpa, Benin’s international market place. Nadine gets her supplies from CDPA and CAJAF COMMON (two companies that sell frozen food products in Cotonou).

Nadine has been running this business for a dozen years. It is the first time that Nadine requests a loan from ALIDé in order to strengthen her activity and better satisfy customer demand.
