Un S., 30, is married and lives with her husband and a child in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia, an area known for its palm products.
S. sells groceries for an income of about USD 5 per day while her husband transports water to sell, earning an income of about USD 4 per day. The family has to spend USD 82 on food every month.
S. is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase more groceries to stock her store. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
