Tatyana is single and makes a living selling spices at her town's central food market. She went into business about a year ago because unemployment is high and jobs are in short supply where she lives. Today, she enjoys being self employed and is making plans to expand her business. To help make this expansion possible, she is applying for a loan for 10,000 Grivnas to increase her supply of working capital and maintain a large assortment of spices because this is key to attracting new customers.
