Ashula is 47 years old. She is married and has five children between the ages of 9 and 24. All of her children are enrolled in school, although she mentions that paying all of the children’s school fees is a challenge.
Ashula owns a restaurant where she sells African food. She says that her restaurant is successful because it is clean and she provides good customer care to her clients.
With the proceeds from this loan, she will buy more types of foods and snacks such as donuts in order to increase her product offering. Any profit that she makes from the business will be used to meet the needs of her children, such as buying food and paying school fees.
