Speratha is 38 years old. She is married and has five children between the ages of 3 and 13. All but her youngest child are enrolled in school. Her husband works with Urunana Company, an acting troupe that is hired to convey social messages through plays and other forms of entertainment.
For the last five years, Speratha has had a shop where she sells things such as soap, alcohol, cooking oil and other food items. With the proceeds of this loan, she is going to make improvements to her shop. She says that the success of her business is due to the good customer care that she provides. With the profit from her business, she is going to save up for a piece of land.
