She mostly offers computer training and photocopying services. This business, she says, was begun with encouragement from her husband. Betty also owns poultry and rental enterprises. Profits from these two businesses help her cover her basic home expenses. By her own account, she makes 200,000 shillings in a week. With this loan, she wants to buy necessary computer materials that she will be using to improve her services.
