Richard J. is 42 years old and lives in the town of Nyendo in the Masaka region of Uganda. He is married and has 2 children. None of his children are currently in school. Richard has a bar business, which he has had for less than one year. He also has rental houses and a taxi for income.
To help expand his business, Richard has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more sodas and beers. With the help of the loan from BRAC, Richard hopes to generate greater profits and buy food. In the future, Richard hopes to construct more rental houses.
