Anteriormente Cristina era empleada de un local comerciante importante de la zona. Como en aquel entonces era muy poco lo que percibía como salario decidió independizarse y abrir su propio negocio. Fue así que habilitó un puestito de ventas de verduras y frutas en el mercado de la cuidad.
Gracias a sus ingresos de las ventas de frutas y verduras pudo lograr que sus hijos terminaran sus estudios secundarios.
En la actualidad quiere seguir ampliando su stock en mercaderías para así poder tener mayor cantidad de clientes.
