Paul O. A. is thirty-one years old and married. His wife is a business lady and they have three children aged between twelve years old and two years old whom they hope to give quality education to the university level.
His business is located in a residential area with many small businesses called Mishomoroni in Mombasa. Mombasa is the coastal region of Kenya and is well known for its many tourist attraction sites, not forgetting the Indian Ocean white beaches. He has a barber shop which he has been operating for the last six years and he has provided employment to one person.
Besides this business he also has a small mobile phone accessories shop in the same area. He says that this business is good and his major challenge is lack of enough working capital. He works very hard from early morning to late evening to keep his business doing well. He is using his loan of Kes 40,000 to buy shaving machines and a sterilising machine which will help him serve more clients while giving them good service. He hopes to open many barber shops and be a prominent businessman in future. He describes himself as very honest, faithful and persevering.
