Aurelia, like the rest of the members, is in her second cycle willing to improve the record of the first cycle. Besides, as President her challenge is to motivate her association.

The business she’s in is sweater weaving. She first learned as a weaving assistant but has had her own business now for four years.

The first loan was for Bs.2000 and it was used to buy wool. This second loan request is for Bs.1000 to buy raw materials.

Sales take place at the 16 de Julio market from 6am until 8pm. She has a woman who helps her with the weaving.

When she is asked what she likes about Pro Mujer she indicates that it’s the savings.

The other group members have their own businesses: food sales, ice-cream sales, broom sales, blanket weaving.

La asociación comunal “POLLERITAS” está iniciando su segundo ciclo, está en proceso de consolidación. Esta conformada por 8 personas, siete mujeres y un varón. La mesa directiva esta constituida por la presidenta, la tesorera y la secretaria de actas.

La señora Aurelia, al igual que el resto de las socias está en su segundo ciclo y dispuesta a mejorar en relación al primer ciclo. Además como presidenta tiene el desafío de motivar a su asociación.
El negocio que desarrolla es tejido de chompas, primero aprendió como ayudante en tejidos, desde hace cuatro años tiene su propio negocio.
El primer crédito fue de Bs. 2000.- y lo invirtió en la compra de lana, para este segundo ciclo su solicitud fue de Bs.1000.- para comprar materia prima. Las ventas son realizadas en la Feria de la zona 16 de Julio, de 6 de la mañana hasta las 8 de la noche. Una señora le ayuda con la costura de las chompas. Cuando se le consulta sobre lo que le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella indica que le gusta ahorrar.

Las otras integrantes de la asociación también tienen sus propios negocios: venta de comida, venta de helados, venta de escobas, tejido de mantas.
