Vive junto a su esposa la cual se dedica a los quehaceres del hogar y también le ayuda a atender el negocio, y su hijo de 12 años que se dedica a estudiar. Santos posee una pequeña venta de abarrotería. Inició su negocio hace cinco años debido a la falta de oportunidad de tener un empleo. Santos trabaja junto a su esposa con el deseo de poder brindarle a su hijo una vida mejor, en la cual cuente con todo lo básico y necesario para una vida digna. Él solicita este préstamo para poder comprar una mayor cantidad de productos para la canasta básica y así tener bien surtida su pulpería. Santos desea que sus ventas aumenten para establecer otra pulpería a parte de la que ya tiene y así poder seguir invirtiendo en la educación de su hijo hasta que este obtenga su título universitario, porque está convencido de que si su hijo estudia tendrá mejores oportunidades de vida.
