Tatyana sells men's clothing at one of the markets in Melitopol city and has been in this business for thirteen years. She has always tried to offer her clients a large variety of clothing at affordable prices.
Tatyana is married with two children and her clothing business is the only source of income for her family. She uses the profit to support her family and also her parents’ family to enable them to survive economically.
Tatyana has used Kiva loans before (see here) and found them very helpful for her business. This time, she would like to borrow 20,000 Grivnas to increase her inventory of seasonable clothing.
About HOPE Ukraine
HOPE International, a Christian faith-based non-profit organization, has been operating in Ukraine since 1997. HOPE Ukraine was the organization’s first international venture. In addition to its core microfinance activities, HOPE also supports an active children's ministry in Ukraine in the form of “Tomorrow Clubs,” after-school programs that teach children the gospel through games, skits and songs.
