Campo Verde (Flat) Group
In this Group: Antonia, Rosaura, Amelia
María Antonia Gómez P. lives in Coapila in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. She was married and has two children out of that marriage: Elariceli, age 17, and Francisco Javier, age 22. Both are married. Maria has made tamales and toast with cream in bulk for four years. She makes good income from her home. She says that she decided to do this type of business to help out with her household costs and tend to her family. Before, she worked in houses as a maid to support her children. With the earnings from her business she buys ingredients for the tamales, such as corn, oil, meat, and raisins; and for the toast she buys cream. Thus, she re-invests in order to keep working without any problems. This way she is also able to save to repay this loan from Fundacion Realidad A.C.

Antonia's dream is to build a solid kitchen so that she can better do her job, since currently she just has planks and the wind does not allow her to progress. She would also like for this job to change her living conditions so that she can get ahead.

They made this group because of a promotion in their village. Rosaura is the group representative. They were interested in her and asked her to join them. The group is called Campo Verde ["Green Field"] because in the area the group is located there are hills and spaces of green grass. The members of Campo Verde (flat) are the following:

Rosaura M. S.: will invest the loan in the purchase of cosmetics catalogues for items such as: perfumes, creams and nail polishes, among other items
