Rosalva O. S. is a member of Santurios. She is 37. Her family is made up of her husband and three school-aged children. Rosa previously worked as a cleaner, but with time her family's costs kept increasing and their salaries were not enough at times. She decided to fix this and start a business that would give her a greater income. She now sells cosmetics, luxury items and clothing in general. She offers her products in homes and in the school that her children attend, since she knows many people there and never passes up the chance to sell. Sales are very good and December is the month in which they increase a little more. She always tries to have variety and good prices to keep her customers. She stocks up every eight days and benefits from the fact that the merchandise is brought to her home, so she does not have to spend money on transportation. With the requested loan she will purchase merchandise such as: blouses, pants, t-shirts, jackets, etc., in order to increase her earnings. Rosa's plans are to be able to offer a better future to her children, and that they will lack nothing for their proper development. She is grateful for the support of Kiva through Fundación Realidad, and for their support of people so that they can get ahead.
