Gnim S., 32, is a professional silk weaver who lives with four of her children and her husband in Takeo province. She has been weaving silk since 2004 and is able to earn a profit of US$2 every day. Her husband is a rice farmer. He makes less than US$1 a day. Three of their children are in school and one is too young to attend. Gnim S. is asking for a loan of US$1200 to purchase more silk for her business.
