Melissa Lisseth
The communal bank "Familiar" meets every 15 days in a place called Colorado, a few minutes from Montecristi. Here the majority of the residents have different business such as making tagua buttons, handicrafts and business in general.

Melissa has been a member of the bank for two cycles. She is very happy and grateful to Fundación Espoir since with her first loan she started her business. She is 18 years old and single. She says that she would live in the country, but her studies brought her to Colorado. She lives with her aunt and studies at the University of Manta. She travels every afternoon and evening selling Avon products (beauty products, perfumes and women's accessories) taking advantage of her university connections to sell to her classmates. She sells her products on credit and collects payments weekly or every 2 weeks. She says that she always orders what her customers request and, until now, it has gone very well since she has earned what she needs to live and for her studies.

She will use this loan to buy more products since she has many orders and still has not collected on the merchandise that has been delivered. Her goals are to finish school and practice her profession as a graduate.
