I Made Parma
View original language description ↓
Living in a humble house with bamboo wall has not discouraged Made Parma and his family at all. Despite this situation, he became more motivated to work for a better life by raising cow. Fortunately, the cow's food materials in his neighborhood are quite abundant. Due to limited capital, he can only raise 1 cow. The cow was bought with price Rp. 3,500,000 (about $387) and in 4 months he could sell it for Rp. 5,000,000 (about $553) so his net profit was Rp. 800,000 (about $88) after subtracting the cow's food expenses. Although the profit was not much, he is very thankful because he can cover his family's daily expenses. His dream to repair his house has encouraged him to save some money from this business. After getting the loan from DINARI, he will work harder in this business because the loans will make his hope to expand the business become reality.
