Benkadi IV is made up of 10 married women, on average 39  years old and with 3 children. Most of them live in polygamous families in N’Gala, one of the villages of the Dioïla prefecture, Koulikoro region, the seond administrative region of Mali.
The women of the group work with Soro Yiriwaso in order to better organize their winter activities. The crops they cultivate include millet, groundnut and beans.
This is their second loan and the first one was correctly repaid.
With this new loan FATOUMATA SEYDOU D. plans to buy fertilizer and small tools and hire help to maintain about 1 hectare of groundnut.
The production is sold in the city of Dioïla after harvest, to resellers mostly.
The members of the group expect to make a profit of 85 000 FCFA at the end of the season.

Benkadi IV est constitué de 10 femmes mariées avec une moyenne d’âge de 39 ans et 3 enfants. Elles vivent la plupart dans des familles polygames à N’Gala, un des villages de la préfecture de Dioïla, région de Koulikoro, 2ème région administrative du Mali.
Elles collaborent avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso dans le but de pouvoir mieux organiser leurs activités hivernales. Les spéculations cultivées sont le petit mil, l’arachide et le haricot.
Elles sont à leur deuxième prêt de campagne et le prêt précédent a été bien remboursé.
Avec ce nouveau prêt, FATOUMATA SEYDOU D. compte acheter les intrants, les petits équipements et payer les frais de main d’œuvre pour entretenir environ 1 hectare d’arachide.
La production est vendue au niveau de la ville de Dioïla après la récolte à une clientèle composée essentiellement de revendeurs.
Elle compte réaliser après la campagne, un bénéfice de 85.000FCFA.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
