Mr Lassine O. is more than 35 years old, married and father to three children. He lives with his family in Wayerma II, the central town of Sikasso (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali). Having had several unsuccessful businesses, Mr. O. launched himself into the business of selling various articles, and he has a shop in front of his marital home where he has been carrying out his business buying and selling articles such as cigarettes, candy, matches, chewing gum, powdered milk, tea, sugar, soap etc., for more than three years.

In order to satisfy ever growing customer demand, he decided to join the microfinance institution, Soro Yiriwaso, around two years ago. he has already had two loans which were both repaid in full. He is requesting this third loan in order to buy ten cartons of different cigarettes, five cartons of tea, five sacks of sugar, five packets of candy, ten packs of chewing gum, thirty packs of matches and ten cartons of soap. His goods are bought from the town's wholesaler traders before being sold retail in his shop in Wayerma I.

He is expecting to make a monthly profit of 170,000FCFA with this loan, and this will be used essentally to increase his business, contribute to family expenses and pay the interest on his loan.

Monsieur Lassina O. a plus 35 ans, marié et père de trois enfants. Il réside avec sa famille à Wayerma II, le centre ville de Sikasso ( troisième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Monsieur O. après avoir mené plusieurs activités sans succès, s’est initié au commerce de vente d’articles divers dont il dispose une boutique devant le domicile conjugal dans lequel il mène cette activité d’achat et vente des articles tels les Cigarettes, bonbons, allumettes, Chewing-gum, lait en poudre, thé, sucre, savon, etc) il plus de trois ans.
Pour satisfaire sa clientèle de plus en plus croissante, il décida de rejoindre l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso il y a environ deux ans. Il a déjà bénéficié de 2 prêts qui ont été tous correctement remboursés.
Il sollicite ainsi ce troisième prêt pour pouvoir acheter 10 cartouches de Cigarettes différentes, 5 cartons du thé, 5 sacs du sucre, 5 paquets de bonbons, 10 paquets de Chewing-gum, 30 paquets d’allumette et 10 cartons de savons. Ses marchandises sont achetées auprès de commerçants grossistes de la ville avant de les revendre en détail dans sa boutique située à Wayerma I.
Il envisage réaliser avec ce prêt un bénéfice mensuel de 170 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé essentiellement pour augmenter son fonds de commerce, contribuer aux dépenses familiales et payer les intérêts de son prêt .
