David is a member of Bumbani group under Faulu Kenya. He is 40 years old and a father of three.
David is the breadwinner in his family. For 18 years, he has been running DK Furniture shop and has three employees. Besides that, he does farming to supplement his family’s income. He was previously employed and at the same time, he was running a salon and a cafeteria.
David had previously taken out two loans from Faulu Kenya with the support of his group members. Through the loans, he has managed to pay school fees for his children. He has requested a loan of 70,000 Kes, which he will use to buy timber. He hopes to make more furniture for display in his show room. In ten years, he wants to own a vehicle for transporting furniture.
