Maria es una socia de la ventanilla rural Gradas Chico, que está ubicada a quince minutos en carro de la ciudad de Guaranda. Son 20 socios en total, que en la mayoridad se dedican al cultivo de maíz, trigo, papas, y la cría de animales. Este es el tercer préstamo que sacan con la cooperativa.

Maria se dedica a la agricultura y tiene un pequeño negocio de la venta de ropa. Cultiva maíz y un poco de papas. Realiza las compras y las ventas de sus productos en el mercado de Guaranda. Vende su ropa en la plaza 15 de Mayo en la ciudad de Guaranda.

Solicita el credito para aumentar su negocio de vender ropa. Su sueno es seguir avanzando en su negocio y hacer estudiar a su hijo. A veces se desafia con la competencia que existe en su negocio de venta de ropa.
No tiene tiempo libre porque siempre hay cosas que hacer en la casa o en las chakras.
