The group is called "Mujeres Tunecas," and is comprised of 5 women who work in different areas, for example: the sale of chocolate, the sale of clothing, and the sale of everyday consumer goods. They will use the loan to increase their working capital. This will help them to increase their incomes and in this way improve the living conditions for themselves and for their families.

H., es una señora que cuenta con 25 años D. edad, curso solamente sexto primaria, tiene con dos hijos que estan estudiando, la cual ella se dedica diarimente en la venta D. perfumes desD. sus 15 años D. edad esto lo hace para su sustento diario y la D. sus hijos D. igual manera ayuda en lo minimo a su esposo que es el que esta pagando los estudios D. los hijos, viendo la necesidad D. ella y D. algunas vecinas D. la misma comunidad en poder incrementar sus negocios formaron un grupo para solicitar un prestamo. El grupo se llama Mujeres Tunecas que esta integrado por 5 mujeres, la cual se dedican a diversas actividades economicas como por ejemplo podemos mencionar: la venta D. chocolate, venta D. ropa y venta D. consumo diari. El credito se utilizara para la ampliacion D. capital D. trabajo, que ayudara a incremtar sus ingresos y asi poder mejorar sus condiciones D. vida y la D. su familia.

About Asociación ASDIR

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
