T., tiene 60 años de edad, es una persona que ha superado vendiendo ropa en los diferentes días de plazas en diferentes lugares y al mismo tiempo se dedica a la crianza de animales; es así como ha podido mantener a su familia y cubrir sus gastos de su hogar, por tal razón ella tomo la idea de formar un grupo de señoras, para que ellas puedan superar también. Este grupo está conformado por once integrantes, mujeres que se dedican en diferentes actividades como: crianza de animales, venta de ropa, venta de artículos de consumo diario.

Las integrantes del grupo decidieron solicitar un crédito en ASDIR para poder mejorar sus condiciones de vida y la de su familia ya que estas personas son de escasos recursos y es de gran ayuda para ellas ampliar su capital de negocio y mejoras sus ventas como también sus ingresos económicos.

About Asociación ASDIR

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
