Salvacion joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Salvacion has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI.

Salvacion is requesting a new loan of 8,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional rice seeds, fertilizers and other farm inputs. This loan will be the second loan taken out by Salvacion from CEVI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to financially support her family.

On Friday November 8, 2013, Super Typhoon Haiyan made its way through Southeast Asia, causing substantial damage to homes and businesses in areas of the Philippines.
