Karla Isabel
Mrs. Karla Isabel is 29 years old, she is married and has one son six years of age. Her husband works as a driver of a minibus. Mrs. Karla has a small bookstore business and also sells cosmetics and other general merchandise. She started this business two years ago by selling school supplies to children when the school term started, taking advantage of the fact that her house is a half a block from the school. She is well situated for the children to buy at her bookstore. Her mother passed this business on to her, in the beginning her mother was the one going to Managua to do the purchasing. By increasing her merchandise, she expects her sales to increase and therefore her income. This is due to her offering good products at accessible prices. This loan is for the purchase of merchandise. Her dream at the moment, is to have a space dedicated only to her business and independent of her house.
