Victor Hugo
Víctor is 56 years old. He is a soy milk seller and lives in Primavera de Duran (suburban area in the outskirts of Guayaquil where the natural environment is disappearing).

He used to be a guard but due to the shortage of income he had to look for another job to support his family. He decided to learn how to make soy milk and sell it on the buses during the day. The income from soy sales has slowly enabled him to build a cement house and even to put his own brand on soy bottles. He is now fitting out some premises to install his small soy milk company there.

With the loan he wants to buy soy and acquire the health certificate required to open the premises (in the photograph). In future he would like to be a wholesale distributor and enjoy the returns with his family.
