Neang S. is highly skilled at cultivating crops on her own farmland and began this work when she was unmarried. She is now married with two school-aged children. Her husband helps be responsible for the family by working in construction. Growing crops is an annual activity with which she has had great success. She is able to plant the crops at least twice a year following both the rainy and dry seasons. The coming rainfall is good for growing, however, Neang S. has insufficient capital to use on her farm. Therefore, Neang S. is seeking a loan to use towards purchasing fertilizers, insecticides, a pump machine and seeds for planting.
