Placide M. was born in the Kigali sector of Kagarama which is in the Kicukiro district of Kigali City Province in Rwanda. He is 36 years old, married and has 4 chlidren. His oldest child is 12 years old and his youngest child is 5. He has an elementary school education. He lives in Kicukiro with his family. All of his children go to school. His wife works in a retail shop to help her husband support the family and to improve their living conditions. He runs a business of transporting people to Kigali by motorcycle. He just took out a loan from Amasezerano to finish his house which didn’t have a roof and wasn’t painted. He saves some money; a part of his profit is saved for the education of his children and to bolster the financial resources of his wife. Thanks to his continual savings, he was able to build a house.

Il habite à Kicukiro avec sa famille. Tous ces enfants vont à l’école. Son épouse fait le commerce de détail en boutique pour aider son mari de faire vivre sa famille et pouvoir améliorer les conditions de vie de sa famille. Il effectue ce commerce de transport des personnes sur moto à Kigali .Il vient de contracter un prêt au sein d’Amasezerano pour finir sa maison qui n’avait pas de plafond et n’était pas peint.
Il fait les épargnes, une partie du profit est épargne pour les études de ses enfants et supporter la capacité financière de sa femme. Il a pu construire une maison grâce aux épargnes continuelles.
